Bus Shelter Replacement, High Street, Handcross

We are pleased to announce that the replacement bus shelter in Handcross is now fully installed.

This project was made possible through funding provided by Section 106 (S106) developer contributions. S106 agreements are legally binding arrangements between local authorities and developers, designed to offset the impact of new developments on the community. In this case, the funds were allocated specifically to improve local infrastructure, ensuring that the village benefits from enhanced services such as this new shelter.

Additionally, it is the intention of the Parish Council to continue enhancing the area with further improvements, including planting and the installation of new street furniture. We are actively exploring other local projects as well.

We selected a shelter that complements the village's rural character. These efforts aim to make Handcross Village an even more welcoming and attractive place for the local community and visitors to the village.

We hope that it provides comfort and convenience to all.
